This session will provide an overview of professional registration and support participants in identifying the most appropriate registration status. It will cover:

• Introduction to the Science Council and the professional membership bodies
• Overview of the Science Council’s professional registration process
• Types of registration status available and competencies required at each level
• Self-assessment on which professional award is appropriate

Objectives

By the end of the session, participants will have a clear understanding of what professional registration involves. They will also have identified which professional membership body and award are appropriate for them.
